Mediasite

Mediasite is an all-in-one recording system that enables clients to instantly record and publish web-based presentations with digital audio, video and slides. Presentations can be published on the Internet for on-demand viewing or saved on CD-ROM.

Scheduling an Appointment

Presentations are recorded in the Multimedia Lab. To schedule an appointment, please contact Amanda Porterfield, Multimedia Lab Assistant, at 231-2223 or send a request by email.

Recording a Presentation

Clients do not need to learn any new software to use the Mediasite system. The client records his or her presentation in front of a computer with a video camera and a microphone. Audio and video are automatically recorded, encoded and uploaded to the Mediasite server as the presentation occurs. Anything displayed on the client's computer such as slides, documents or photographs is captured in real-time and synchronized with the rest of the presentation.

Viewing Presentations

Presentations can be viewed using Internet Explorer and Windows Media Player.
