Learning Activities for Young People
Fun Science: Get Your Feet and Hands Wet with Aquaculture
(Adobe Presenter -- Download Flash Player)
Teaching young students where food comes from is important and also challenging since most youth have little first hand knowledge of food and fiber production. The 4-H Virtual Farm website features Virginia farms and farmers, and is designed to provide young people with an opportunity to learn about basic agricultural concepts. "Fun Science: Get Your Feet and Hands Wet with Aquaculture" provides an overview of aquaculture.
