Digital Audio

AHNR-IT has three Marantz PMD690 portable digital audio recorders available for loan.  Audio is stored on a standard compact flash card in an uncompressed PCM (.WAV) format.  Recorders can operate on AC or battery power.  

Recorders will accept any XLR type microphone.  AHNR-IT has three different types available for loan with the recorders:

• Desktop microphone - good for recording audio at your desk
• Wireless lapel microphone - good for presentations
• PZM (pressure zone microphone) - good for recording small groups
